巨噬细胞集落刺激因子(M-CSF)是一种同源二聚体糖蛋白生长因子,可调节髓系造血祖细胞向单核吞噬细胞谱系的增殖和分化,包括单核细胞、巨噬细胞和破骨细胞。在大多数组织中,M-CSF是组织常驻巨噬细胞发育的关键因素(Ginhoux & Jung)。它是单核细胞和巨噬细胞成熟和激活所必需的,并与其他刺激如IFN-γ、LPS和IL-4一起调节炎症反应(Murray等人)。M-CSF也是破骨细胞骨吸收所必需的,并参与胎盘、乳腺和脑的发育和调节。M-CSF由单核细胞、成纤维细胞、破骨细胞、基质细胞、内皮细胞和肿瘤细胞产生(Chockalingam & Ghosh)。

Data Figures

(A) The biological activity of Mouse Recombinant M-CSF was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of NFS-60 cells. Cell proliferation was measured after 44 hours of culture using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the above example is 1.1 - 1.6 ng/mL.
(B) 1 μg of Mouse Recombinant M-CSF was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. Mouse Recombinant M-CSF is a homodimer of 18.2 kDa subunits with a predicted total predicted molecular mass of 36.4 kDa.
