总览

BM8抗体识别F4/80抗原(在小鼠中也称为Ly-71,在人中也称为EMR-1),这是一种~160 kDa的跨膜糖蛋白,属于G蛋白偶联受体EGF-TM7家族。F4/80被认为是鉴定成熟组织巨噬细胞的首选标志物,在肝脏(Kupffer细胞)、皮肤(Langerhans细胞)、骨髓基质、胰腺、胸腺、脾脏(红髓)、肺等组织中广泛地呈可变表达。循环单核细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞和一部分树突状细胞也表达F4/80。巨噬细胞活化后F4/80表达水平升高。据报导,F4/80是唯一适合区分胰腺中破坏性和非破坏性炎症过程的巨噬细胞标志物。该蛋白被认为在免疫耐受所涉及的CD8+调节性T细胞的产生中发挥作用。
