白介素1α (IL-1α)是IL-1家族的成员,是一种双重功能的细胞因子。未加工的前体和加工过的IL-1α蛋白都可通过IL-1受体1 (IL-1R1)进行信号传导。多种细胞类型,包括角化细胞、胸腺上皮、肝细胞、内皮细胞、成纤维细胞和粘膜上皮细胞,细胞内IL-1α前体蛋白水平较高,此外,在单核细胞和B淋巴细胞表面也有表达(Netea等人)。IL-1α在坏死过程中,可将浸润细胞募集到损伤部位,并在无菌炎症过程中发挥重要作用(Rider等人;Cohen等人)。在缺氧状态下,IL-1α有助于血管生成(Carmi等人)。缺血性脑损伤后,小胶质细胞产生IL-1α,导致炎症反应的发生(Luheshi 等人)。

(A) The biological activity of Mouse Recombinant IL-1 alpha was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of D10.G4.1 cells. Cell proliferation was measured after 72 hours of culture using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the cytokine at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is 0.00581 ng/mL. (B) 1 μg of Mouse Recombinant IL-1 alpha was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining.
