白介素7 (IL-7)是I型细胞因子家族的一员,对T细胞和B细胞的发育和存活至关重要。它由胸腺、淋巴器官和骨髓基质细胞中的非造血细胞产生(Lundström et al.)。IL-7结合由共同γ链和IL-7Ra (CD127)组成的受体,并通过JAK/STAT和PI3K通路发出信号。IL-7调节naïve和记忆CD4+和CD8+ T细胞、γδ T细胞、NK T细胞、先天淋巴样细胞和T调节细胞的存活(Carrette & Surh),并在B细胞发育过程中提供促进存活、增殖和分化的信号(Clark et al.; Corfe & Paige)。

(A) The biological activity of Mouse Recombinant IL-7 was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of 2E8 cells. Cell proliferation was measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the above example is less than 0.4 ng/mL.
(B) 5 μg of Mouse Recombinant IL-7 was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. Mouse Recombinant IL-7 has a predicted molecular mass of 15 kDa but migrates to an apparent molecular mass of ~24 kDa.
