概述

远红色核染色剂是一种细胞渗透性的远红色荧光染料，推荐用于活细胞或固定细胞培养中细胞核的染色和可视化。作为一种荧光染料，远红色核染色具有低背景，因为它只有在结合DNA时才会荧光。远红色染料也比传统的蓝色染料有优势，因为它们通过避免暴露在紫外线下引起的DNA损伤而显示出较少的自身荧光和光毒性。结合DNA后，远红核染色发出远红信号，可以使用荧光显微镜，荧光微孔板或配备标准花青素-5 （Cy5）滤光片的流式细胞术观察。远红色核染色也适用于活细胞或固定细胞的多色染色。

Live HeLa cells were stained with 5 µM Far-Red Nuclear Stain and then imaged using a fluorescence microscope. Image was taken at 200X magnification and is a cropped field of view. The image shows bright staining of several HeLa cell nuclei (red).
