总览

VU-1D9抗体识别人上皮细胞黏附分子(EpCAM或CD326),这是一种约40 kDa的I型跨膜糖蛋白,作为一种同源性、Ca²⁺ 非依赖性的黏附分子发挥作用。VU-1D9抗体的结合依赖于EpCAM的细胞外EGF-1结构域的存在。EpCAM 参与多种细胞过程,包括信号转导、迁移、增殖和分化。其在红系生成早期即被表达,并被鉴定为一种干细胞标志物。EpCAM 蛋白主要位于大多数正常上皮细胞的基侧膜,在骨髓、结肠和肺组织中表达较高。由于 EpCAM 不在间皮细胞或间皮瘤中表达,因此被广泛用作区分间皮瘤与癌细胞的诊断标志物,并作为癌症免疫治疗的靶点。VU-1D9 抗体还被用于识别和分离循环肿瘤细胞(CTCs)。
