RPA-2.10抗体可与CD2发生反应。CD2是一种分子量约为50 kDa的 I 型跨膜糖蛋白，属于免疫球蛋白（Ig）超家族；其胞外部分含有两个 Ig 样结构域。CD2广泛表达于外周T细胞、NK细胞、树突状细胞、红细胞、大多数胸腺T细胞、部分胸腺B细胞亚群和内皮细胞。CD2的表达出现在T细胞分化早期。在某些淋巴瘤和髓系白血病中观察到异常表达。CD2对于T细胞的激活和信号传导以及淋巴细胞粘附至关重要。CD2的主要配体是位于抗原呈递细胞上的CD58（LFA-3），其他配体包括CD15（SSEA-1）、CD48和CD59。值得注意的是，RPA-2.10抗体可阻断混合淋巴细胞反应。
