6H6抗体可与人CD123 （IL-3受体α亚基）反应，CD123是一种约70 kDa的I型跨膜糖蛋白，属于I型细胞因子受体家族（5型亚家族）和免疫球蛋白（Ig）超家族。CD123构成异二聚体IL-3受体的配体结合α链。CD123本身与IL-3的结合亲和力较低，但当与CD131（受体的信号转导β链）结合时，可以观察到IL-3的高亲和力结合。CD123在造血祖细胞、内皮细胞、嗜碱性粒细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞、肥大细胞、单核细胞、巨噬细胞、树突状细胞、巨核细胞、一个B细胞亚群以及在粒细胞-巨噬细胞集落刺激因子 (GM-CSF) 存在下培养的中性粒细胞中表达。IL-3结合CD123可刺激造血细胞的增殖、分化和活力。CD123在恶性肿瘤如急性白血病中高度表达。6H6抗体不抑制IL-3与CD123或IL-3受体的结合。
