通过免疫磁珠正选从脐带血（CB）单核细胞（MNCs）中分离出人原代CD14+单核细胞。CB采集过程中添加檬酸盐-磷酸盐-葡萄糖（CPD）作为抗凝剂。CD14主要在单核细胞上表达。
细胞采集均通过机构审查委员会（IRB）、美国食品药品监督管理局（FDA）、美国卫生与公众服务部（HHS）或同等监管机构批准的知情同意书及方案进行。
