ArciTect™ 高保真 DNA 聚合酶试剂盒包含 ArciTect™ 高保真 DNA 聚合酶、dNTP 混合物（10 mM；含 dATP、dCTP、dGTP 和 dTTP 钠盐）以及两种缓冲液：ArciTect™ 高保真缓冲液（用于标准高保真反应）和 ArciTect™ 高 GC 含量缓冲液（用于难以扩增且富含 G 和 C 碱基的模板）。使用 ArciTect™ 高 GC 含量缓冲液的反应灵敏度更高，但错误率略高。所有成分均不含动物成分。
在乳糖苷酶 (lacl)诱变实验中，ArciTect™ 高保真 DNA 聚合酶的错误率比标准Taq聚合酶低 50 到 60 倍。其延伸速率为每秒 67 个核苷酸，并可成功扩增较长的目标片段（可扩增最长达 5 kb 的人类基因组 DNA 或 8 kb 的 λ 噬菌体 DNA）。该酶产生平末端（blunt-end）产物。
