2G10-TB3抗体会与β-微管蛋白III反应，β-微管蛋白III是一种约50 - 55 kDa的结构蛋白，是微管蛋白的一个组成部分。微管蛋白是细胞骨架内微管的主要成分，由α-微管蛋白亚基和β-微管蛋白亚基的异二聚体组装而成。β-微管蛋白III亚型，也被称为神经元特异性III类β-微管蛋白，主要在神经元中表达，被广泛用作区分神经元与其他细胞类型的标志物。β-微管蛋白III参与神经元胞体和轴突中的微管形成，与GTP结合有关，并在轴突运输、神经元细胞增殖和分化中起作用。它在多种类型的癌症中高度表达，是多种肿瘤的预测和预后标志物，例如，它存在于肿瘤细胞中而在正常胶质细胞中未发现。2G10-TB3抗体有望识别β-微管蛋白III的所有哺乳动物同源物，研究发现其表位已定位至极端C-端氨基酸EAQGPK。

(A) E18 cortical rat neurons were cultured using NeuroCult™ SM1 Neuronal Culture Kit on poly-lysine-coated glass coverslips, then fixed and labeled with Anti-Human Beta-Tubulin III Antibody, Clone 2G10-TB3, followed by donkey anti-mouse IgG, Alexa Fluor® 488.
