概述
生长分化因子11 （Growth differentiation factor 11, GDF-11）是转化生长因子β (TGF-β)家族成员。它结合TGF-β受体ALK4、ALK5和ALK7，激活SMAD信号通路（Ho et al.）。GDF-11调节嗅觉系统、视网膜和胰腺的发育，以及轴骨的前/后模式（Lee & Lee）。GDF-11是一种在骨骼肌、脑和牙髓中表达的内分泌因子（Kondás等）。小鼠研究表明，GDF-11调节肌肉和心脏老化，并通过重塑血管刺激神经发生(Katsimpardi等人；Loffredo等人；Sinha等人)。本产品不含动物成分。

(A) The biological activity of Human/Mouse Recombinant GDF-11 was tested by its ability to inhibit alkaline phosphatase production in ATDC-5 cells. Inhibition of alkaline phosphatase production was measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which alkaline phosphatase activity is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the above example is 2.63 ng/mL. (B) 1 μg of Human/Mouse Recombinant GDF-11 was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining.
