概述
依托泊苷通过抑制拓扑异构酶II活性抑制癌细胞增殖。依托泊苷高效且具有细胞渗透性，通过与拓扑异构酶II和DNA形成复合物，抑制拓扑异构酶II （IC50 = 60.3 μM）重组断裂的DNA链，从而导致细胞死亡（Wu等）。依托泊苷也被用作触发和模拟体外细胞衰老的一种方法(Bang等人；波尔等人；Teng等人；Yang等人)。
