Primary human cells, fresh or frozen
Primary human cells, fresh or frozen
Start your research confidently with a reliable supply of ethically sourced peripheral blood (PB) products from donors diagnosed with scleroderma. Scleroderma is an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation, chronic thickening, and tightening of the skin. Cells from donors with scleroderma may be used to advance novel pharmaceutical therapies for treatment. Product options include fresh leukopaks, frozen mononuclear cells (MNCs or PBMCs), and plasma. Additional product options, including frozen leukopaks and other custom sizes, can also be requested through this form. We help you get the cells you need with personalized service and flexible delivery times.
Leukopaks are an enriched leukapheresis product consisting of a large number of single-donor MNCs, collected using the Spectra Optia® Apheresis System, with acid-citrate-dextrose solution A (ACDA) as the anticoagulant. Primary human MNCs are isolated from PB leukapheresis samples using density gradient separation or red blood cell lysis and cryopreserved in animal component-free CryoStor®CS10 medium (Catalog #07930). All PB products are obtained from donors diagnosed with scleroderma, confirmed by the collection facility Medical Director, using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols. Additional documentation, donor disease and treatment information, and high-resolution HLA typing (Class I and Class II alleles) may be available upon request. Donor specifications (e.g. BMI category, age, ethnicity, etc.) can be requested in the comment box above, after selecting from the product options. Donors are screened for HIV-1, HIV-2, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.
